German A2 Vocabulary: Work, School & Free Time

German A2 Vocabulary: Work, School & Free Time (194 Words)

What do you do for a living, what did you learn at school, what do you do at the weekend? The A2 speaking exam asks about all three, and the reading tasks are full of job ads, course offers and event listings. This deck covers the words on the official A2 list for jobs and the workplace, school and studying, newspapers, phones and the internet, sport, music and culture, plus the adjectives you need to say what you think of something.

Every job comes with its male and female form (der Lehrer / die Lehrerin), every noun has its article and plural, and phrases such as fertig sein and verabredet sein show their Perfekt forms. Each card has IPA and an example sentence with an English translation.
